Tampa FL Trick-or-Treat Times for 2017
Tampa FL trick-or-treat times for 2017
Make no bones about it: we love Halloween. It’s a holiday that continues to strike at our creativity and leave us enthralled long after we’ve reached adulthood. While many holidays lose their sparkle as they change meaning or we gain responsibilities, Halloween continues as a time when we can dress up and pretend to be something ghoulish, zany or adorable. You are just as welcome to enjoy it for horror and thrills, or take a more light-hearted approach. The latter is especially relevant for parents, who are often wondering about the best time to go trick or treating in Tampa FL, rather than scouting for 2017 Halloween parties. Here’s what you need to know.
Trick-or-Treating in Tampa FL
The tricky thing about trick-or-treating is you sometimes don’t know if you should go on the actual date of Halloween. This year, October 31 lands on a Tuesday. Don’t worry, though, because trick-or-treating takes place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in most neighborhoods. We recommend you head out at 6 to finish early and let your neighbors turn in early. Sunset is expected around 6:45 p.m., so the best window of time for families with younger children is the first hour.
Last year, we focused a little more on adult activities you can do for Halloween, but honestly – where can’t you go? From local taverns sort of mature scares you’ll find at Busch Gardens, there’s still plenty of fun activities aimed squarely at adults.
If you’re wondering where to go for children, your best bet it to look at the Lowry Zoo, Glazer Children’s Museum, Legoland or other parks that typically cater to kids. Tickets won’t be as inexpensive as simply heading down the street and ringing doorbells, but the organized atmosphere is often more entertaining and less stressful.
